Information for makers - Exhibitions

As well as the space in the Craft Shop we host a programme of six changing exhibitions a year, each running for a two-month period.

These exhibitions are connected by a theme or material and include the work of between six and twelve makers. This work is displayed in prime locations in glass cabinets around the Theatre and is all for sale.

The work is fully insured, and the Craft Shop pays for the return carriage on all unsold work at the end of the exhibition.

Criteria for selection

Work for both the shop and the exhibitions is selected based on the following criteria:

* Strong design.

* A high standard of workmanship.

* The compatibility with work already stocked in the shop.

* Value for money.
