When you enter the competition, you will need to send us the following:

a) A completed entry form. These can be found at the back of this starter pack, or downloaded from the website.

b) A stamped, addressed (to your pseudonym) envelope so that we can acknowledge receipt of your script.

c) Another envelope, this time sealed, with your real name and the name of your script inside it. We will only open this envelope once judging has taken place to ensure absolute anonymity.

d) Your script. This will need to be typed, double-spaced and bound single-sided with a paper fastener. You should include a character list at the front and all pages need to be numbered. The front page of your script should include the title and your pseudonym. Your real name must not appear anywhere on the script itself.

e) Please post your submissions to; Competition Administrator, THE BRUNTWOOD PLAYWRITING COMPETITION, Royal Exchange Theatre, St Ann’s Square, Manchester M2 7DH.

We cannot return scripts so please make sure you do not send us your only copy.
