We are delighted to be launching our 2016 Craft Making workshops

We have included more jewellery making workshops with local jeweller Jo Lavelle but they will be slightly different to our previous ones. We have also included a few new themed workshops run by members of the Manchester Craft Mafia (so you will be in safe hands).

WIRE BIRDS WITH LUCY ELISABETH
During the workshop you will work with wire to create your own hanging or standing wire bird to take home. Suitable for all abilities!

LINO PRINTING WITH CAROLINE COATES

Introduction session to this popular printing/illustration technique In this session you will be supported in creating your own design and shown how to transfer it to Lino. (Alternatively a selection of Ideas and templates will also be provided) You will be shown safe use of the Lino cutting tools to create your own card or picture Within the session you will be able to finish a small linocut and print off several copies A selection of papers and cards will be provided. Please wear old clothes it can get messy! Linocut print making is suitable for beginners.

PAPER CUTTING WITH CAROLINE COATES
Introduction to paper cutting suitable for beginners and those wanting to improve their technique. This workshop will cover how to turn to your own design into a template ready for cutting. (Alternatively a range of templates is also provided.) How to safely cut paper /card to create intricate designs. Tips for best results and how to fix mistakes so no one will notice! Layering techniques using different colours and to give your final piece depth. You will also be given a selection of templates to further practice your skills after the workshop.
