‘When two souls collide, the impact can resonate for all eternity. So it was, and so it is, with Heathcliff and Cathy – but if they can’t be together, the world that struggles to contain them will simply shatter and burn…’

Exploring the imagination of Emily Bronte in two of the most famous literary characters every written. Bryony Shanahan's production of classic WUTHERING HEIGHTS will bring a fresh and vibrant take to Bronte’s writing, and this workshop will explore how we can physicalise this on stage and portray the wildness of the plays setting.

Learning Objectives:

  • To physicalise and perform some extracts of Bronte’s most famous work.
  • To explore the setting and how this influences the action on stage.
