The Royal Exchange Theatre sits at the heart of Manchester's culturally dynamic city centre. We are one of the largest and most compelling producing theatre companies in the UK.
This is an exciting new role within the Creative Learning & Engagement department that will create sustainable and long-term engagement between Greater Manchester communities and their local world class theatre.
The Engagement Manager will lead the development of Local Exchange a new and important area of work for the RET. Local Exchange will be a company-wide approach to working in communities, enabling RET to be resident in areas across Greater Manchester and create a lasting legacy for the RET, our partners and the community.
We are therefore seeking to appoint a proactive and experienced manager with a proven record of developing, resourcing and managing high quality community engagement programmes. This is an outward facing role that requires a high level of networking and partnership building and relationship management with stakeholders at senior levels as well as working across all departments of the Royal Exchange Theatre therefore strong and confident communication skills are essential.
