RESOURCE EXTRA: This resource has been written for use with Key Stage 4 and 5 Drama, Theatre Studies and English students, but many of the activities can be adapted for younger age groups. The activities aim to help students explore significant features of the rehearsal process and production.
TRANS AWARENESS RESOURCE: This resource can be used in connection to the Royal Exchange’s 2014 production of HAMLET or as a standalone resource in PSHE. It has been created with Key Stage 3, 4 & 5 pupils in mind, but many of the activities could be adapted for use with younger age groups. The purpose of this resource is to: Raise awareness about trans identities; Explore some key terms and uses of language around gender and sexual orientation; Begin to explore issues around equality.
