We want to listen to what schools need from the Royal Exchange Theatre and hear your ideas to create relevant and engaging programmes of activity that work for your school.

NEW this season - you can now bring professionals from the Royal Exchange Theatre into your Greater Manchester classroom to deliver creative workshops at the best time for you!
Sessions include: ACTING IN THE ROUND, WRITING IN THE ROUND, DEVISING IN THE ROUND and EXPLORE WORKSHOPS.
Workshops and tours can also take place in our unique Theatre module throughout the academic year, including our ever-popular HOW THEATRE IS MADE.
Give students more from their visit to the Theatre with our pre-show Introducing session.
Students will gain an understanding of the director's interpretation of the play with talks from the creative team, who will reveal production secrets.
Sessions include INTRODUCING...FRANKENSTEIN and INTRODUCING...THE CHERRY ORCHARD.
Support your students in evaluating and reviewing live theatre in this practical workshop, available eithr in your school or at the Theatre. This session will develop students' ability to analyse, evaluate and reflect on the live theatre production before they watch the show. Students will also receive supporting documents to take back to the classroom with a focus on subject-specific terminonolgy, ready to use in their exam.
Sessions include: Live Theatre Review: FRANKENSTEIN, Live Theatre Review: THE CHERRY ORCHARD and Live Theatre Review: HAPPY DAYS.
The Royal Exchange Theatre Teacher Forum brings together teachers, practitioners and educationlists to share best practice, netowkr and hear about upcoming projects at the Royal Exchange. Membership is just £15 per academic year, and all sessions include a free ticket to that evening's show.
