THE RIVALS is named after the very first production at the theatre back in 1976 and is run by Rupert Hill and Goska Langrish – 2 established names in the city’s eating and drinking culture.
Rupert is both a recognised stage and screen actor and co-owner of the successful venues The Castle Hotel, Gulliver’s, The Eagle Inn, Baker’s Vaults and part of the team who launched The Parlour – winner of the coveted Observer Food Monthly Best Sunday Lunch Award.
Goska Langrish has a long-established career in hospitality, both in Manchester and London, and was instrumental in the success of The Parlour.
