A monthly conversation group for everyone over 18.

Theatre Café is a chance to talk about the work we stage here, the state of British theatre and why we make theatre at all. At each session we pose a question that somehow links to the show currently in production. The session starts with informal table conversations over a hot drink, before the opportunity to take part in a wider group discussion when we will be joined by a theatre guest. This is a chance to meet new people, join the discussion and share your thoughts on what theatre is and should be. You do not need to have seen the show to attend.

Each production’s question will be announced at the previous sessions and published here. The question for A STREETCAR NAMED DESIRE will be published soon.

"just wanted to say how much I enjoyed the session - it’s great to meet new people with similar interests in theatre. I thought the way you structured it was fantastic as it allowed everyone to speak and facilitated a very interesting discussion. Really looking forward to the next session and thank you for running these." Theatre Cafe attender
