The theatre is a popular setting for conferences, panel discussions and one-off events. Whether it’s to welcome 400 delegates for a conference or 200 staff for a training seminar, the events team can cater for all your conference needs in the world-class theatre-in-the-round. As well as an architecturally striking space, the theatre offers an intimate setting for a large-scale event.
Our exceptional Sound, Lighting and Stage Technicians and Technical Ushers deliver outstanding, performance calibre, support to your event. We work with respected suppliers for high-quality AV solutions and are also happy to work with your chosen supplier or inhouse team to bring the vision of your event to fruition.
Our Front Room, Exchange Suite and Lounge can be used for coinciding sessions, or breakout workshops for larger conferences, or as speakers’ green room for VIP guests.
The Rivals Restaurant and café can provide catering to sustain your delegates from morning until night and are happy to create a bespoke menu to suit your needs. The café area can be booked exclusively for your delegates and provides a stunning background to a conference lunchbreak. This area is also an ideal for exhibition stands to pitch and get the footfall of attendees during breaks. Post-conference or wedding ceremony drinks, or private dining can also be arranged in the Great Hall, or one of our smaller and more intimate spaces.
We’ve had book launches, tai chi, yoga, Art Battle, Sing Arounds, weddings, and fine dining on stage. We don’t have a pre-set package as we like to work flexibly to deliver an event which is ideal for you.
