Part of Co:LAB Festival 2019. Created by the Royal Exchange Theatre's Open Exchange.
CODE SILVER CODE SILVER
- 22 June 2019
- The Studio
CODE SILVER CODE SILVER is about boys. It’s about the world we ask boys to grow up in, and how that world turns them into violent men.
With a young performer joining their company, YESYESNONO plunge into the digital landscapes of 21st century masculinity, dissecting the scripts boys are fed today, and how they prescribe violence as a way of interacting with the world.
With dance, music and radical care, Code Silver Code Silver is a desperate attempt to forge a better world, to find a space to co-exist, to care for one another honestly.
This is a scratch performance. Co:Lab Festival 2019 is the first time CODE SILVER CODE SILVER will be shared with an audience.
