Where can you meet a woman artist from 1922 Benin, a feisty Ghanian student nurse standing up to a blinkered matron in 1971, and a Jamaican lad going on holiday and suddenly finding himself facing a throng of brothers and sisters he never knew existed?
In a Manchester Community Garden here in the Den.

DOMINOES AND DAHLIAS (+OWARE!) has been created with older people from the African and African Caribbean diaspora led by artist Cheryl Martin with musician Clive Hunte.
After two successful performances at the Royal Exchange Theatre Studio, DOMINOES AND DAHLIAS (+OWARE!) is back for a performance in the Den in Cheetham Hill.
ALL TICKETS FOR THE DEN IN M8 ARE EITHER FREE OR JUST £1!
We've kept the ticket price low because 1. We want everyone to be able to attend. And 2. To encourage those who can afford it to donate to the Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal (with the Disasters Emergency Committee). It's easy to donate, you'll offered the chance to donate as part of the booking process online.
