Introducing Workshops

  • 26 March 2020 - 16 July 2020
  • The Theatre - The Studio

Pre-show introductions to each play and production

Give students more from their visit to the Royal Exchange with our pre-matinee, talk based Introducing session.

Led from the stage by the Creative Learning & Engagement team, INTRODUCING sessions are designed to develop knowledge and understanding of a live theatre production.

Students will gain an understanding of the director’s interpretation of the play, with talks from members of the creative team who will reveal production secrets. Actors from the company will demonstrate exercises and give exclusive insights from rehearsal room.

These sessions are suitable for secondary students, groups and individual audience members and can accommodate up to 100 people in The Theatre and 90 people in The Studio.

"Interesting, and often revelatory"
