The Royal Exchange Theatre is committed to improving access for all theatre-goers and aims to ensure that disabled visitors have an enjoyable experience. We have wheelchair spaces and a lift in St Ann's Square, providing level access to all floors. We also welcome guide dogs and hearing dogs.
Please call Box Office who will be happy to advise on seating, book your tickets for half price (except for restrictions) and also book a companion seat if applicable. Call 0161 833 9833 and let them know you have mobility restrictions. We do not take bookings online because we have specially allocated seats for patrons in wheelchairs.
We have aimed to make this website as accessible as possible, click here further information about website accessibility.
We have infra-red assisted hearing facilities and offer BSL signed performances & STAGETEXT Captioned Performances. Each production in the Theatre also has an audio-described performance with a Touch Tour for the visually impaired. Please click here for dates of our accessible performances.
Our season brochure is available in large print, braille and audio, and our programmes are available in large print and braille, free of charge. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org
Disabled patrons can obtain half-price tickets for all performances. Half-price tickets are also available for a companion, if applicable. This discount applies to all seats other than the lowest priced tickets. Unfortunately we regret that discounted tickets cannot, at present, be bought on-line. However, you can book these tickets by contacting our Box Office in one of the following ways:
Telephone: 0161 833 9833
Fax: 0161 615 6696
Minicom: 0161 615 6699
