Stuck for something to do on a Sunday?  Got children under 11?

Get yourselves down to the Royal Exchange Theatre, where we now have  FREE FAMILY FRIENDLY EVENTS
every week.

On Sundays there’ll always be something different to do – choose from DRAMA WORKSHOPS, CRAFT WORKSHOPS STORYTELLING or LIVE ENTERTAINMENT. Get down for 12pm and see what we’ve got going on.

All workshops are FREE and suitable for under 11s. Some are ticketed and it’s a good idea to book in advance as they’re proving really popular. Some Sundays are HARD HAT SUNDAYS
–  when you get to see the space as it transforms from one show to the next and find out the behind-the-scenes secrets of Manchester’s most magical stage!

Don’t forget the Royal Exchange Great Hall has:

- Easily access for prams and pushchairs via the lift in St Ann’s Square
- A Family Friendly environment, with a big space, where small people can enjoy roaming around.
- The Great Hall Café which sells children’s lunch packs
- Free Theatre Explorer Bags available from the Information Point, with lighting gels, fabrics, objects and activity cards for children aged 3- 7 to begin exploring our building.
