We're delighted to hear that our favourite little porker - Edmund the Learned Pig - is off to the Fringe Festival this August as part of the British Council's Edinburgh Showcase.

A co-production with the RET, Fittings Multimedia Arts and Krazy Kat Theatre Company EDMUND THE LEARNED PIG is a deaf-friendly musical play telling the story of a brighter than average pig who runs away to join the circus. Inspired by an unpublished poem by American author Edward Gorey and featuring wonderfully macabre original songs by Martin Jacques of internationally acclaimed group The Tiger Lilies, EDMUND is a highly accomplished and uplifting show exploring the diversity of families and what it means to be different.

“The show's vaudevillian setting is enhanced by a deliciously decadent, accordion-heavy score, which seems to have been devised as a means of introducing young audiences to the thrill of Weimar-era floorshows” The Guardian
