The Inaugural Dream Project took place in the Spring of 2022.
A group of African and African Caribbean older people worked together with director Cheryl Martin and musician Clive Hunte to create Dominoes & Dahlia’s (+Oware!) The show was a great success and, after its premiere at The Royal Exchange Studio, it toured to The Den at Cheetham Hill, Storyhouse Chester and the National Trust Castlefield Viaduct.
Many of the participants went on to join the the Royal Exchange Theatre Elders Company and we continue to support members of the group as they become an independent company.
