Telling and sharing stories is amazing - maybe you, or someone you know has a story to tell?

This summer we’ll be bringing our pop-up theatre ‘the Den’ to Beswick, Openshaw and Clayton, bringing two weeks of music, theatre, comedy, workshops and more, programmed by local residents for local residents. As part of the festival, we are running a competition for young people to write their own plays which will be performed by professional actors at the festival.

All plays will be professionally directed and performed. All winning writers will get feedback from Royal Exchange Theatre Dramaturg Suzanne Bell to develop their plays before rehearsals.

The deadline for all submissions is Sunday 25th June 12pm.
