On Wednesday 7 January, we hosted our annual 'thank you' event for our Regular Givers, who individually give the theatre money as part of a tiered giving scheme.
The event was also attended by Development Director Val Young, who kicked off the speeches by welcoming and thanking the guests for their intergral role within the theatre.
"Their combined donations exceed £50,000 per year, and without their valuable support, many aspects of the theatre wouldn't be possible."
Next up, our Executive Director Fiona Gasper took the mic to speak about specific projects that have been made possible over the last year, which was then followed by our new Associate Director Matthew Xia looking ahead at the exciting work coming up in 2015.
What is our Regular Giving scheme?
Each year we need to raise over £500,000 so we can continue to make great theatre. In doing this, we reach as many people as possible whilst keeping our ticket prices affordable.
"By making a gift to the Royal Exchange Theatre, you help to create ambitious theatre made by some of the most exciting creative talent in the country. You also ensure theatre is open to everyone by supporting a vibrant programme of talent development and engagement work. You, our audience and supporters, are a huge part of our success. Thank you for being part of our future." Sarah Frankcom, Artistic Director
Those who make a gift together regularly contribute over £50,000 a year to support the making of great theatre in the heart of Manchester.
If you'd like to make a regular gift and help us plan for the future, you can join us from as little as £5 a month with a membership to suit you... Read More
