Told by an Idiot and the Royal Exchange Theatre present

THE GHOST TRAIN - Relaxed Performance

Relaxed performances are designed to welcome anyone who will benefit from a more relaxed performance environment.

Traditionally this has included people with an Autism Spectrum Disorder, sensory and communication disorders, or a learning disability. The Royal Exchange Theatre's relaxed performance of THE GHOST TRAIN will be based on the existing models, but will take them further. We want our performance to be for anybody who may be anxious about attending theatre for a range of reasons. This could be a fear of the dark, claustrophobia, a condition which makes it difficult for you to be silent, a fear of loud noise, or maybe because it is hard for you to sit still for a long period of time.

Director Paul Hunter will be making small changes to the staging for this performance and there will be a relaxed attitude to noise and movement. The doors to the theatre will be open, allowing people to come and go from the auditorium at any time and we'll have breakout areas in the Great Hall.

The recommended age for THE GHOST TRAIN is 10+.

Everyone is very welcome to attend this performance, regardless of whether or not you 'require' the special conditions it will offer.

It promises to be an inclusive, enjoyable experience for all.
