Our latest Mezzanine exhibition FROM WHERE WE STAND showcases the digital artwork of 33 students aged 14 to16 from St Ambrose Barlow RC High School and Mossley Hollins High School. Have a look & experience Manchester from the view point of 14-16 yr olds.
Pupils worked with photographer and writer Len Grant to create their compelling pieces of art, which make a critical observation about how things look different depending on where we stand.
“The best bit was walking around Manchester and taking photos. We learnt about the Northern Quarter and other parts of Manchester” Pupil from St Ambrose Barlow RC High School
“The best thing was seeing the Royal Exchange! I learnt that there are many different feelings [when you walk around] Manchester” Pupil from Mossley Hollins High School
FROM WHERE WE STAND will be on the mezzanine gallery until 2 April.
