Trusts and Foundations play a crucial role at the Royal Exchange Theatre.

It is with their support that we can continue to make world class theatre that is open, inclusive, accessible, empowering and life enhancing.

We constantly need support so that we can:

-Sustain our varied repertoire of new writing and revivals

-Commission new work

-Produce resources and deliver workshops for schools

-Support the development of emerging actors, designers, makers and technicians through placement and bursary programmes

-Provide first time experiences of professional theatre for children, young people and adults

-Preserve and enhance our fabulous Grade 11* listed building

-Develop our technical capabilities for productions

If you are involved with a grant making trust or foundation and think a partnership with the Royal Exchange Theatre might be possible, we can provide further detail of a number of rewarding projects and programmes that would benefit from your support.

Trustees and other representatives of grant makers are welcome to visit the Theatre at any time to see our activities in action.
