Work with schools and colleges forms a core element of Exchange Education. For much of our work with the formal education sector we focus on the 10 districts of Greater Manchester. However, we also work with schools from across the

A Forum bringing together teachers, theatre practitioners and educationalists to share best practice and hear about recent and forthcoming projects and events that place creative learning at the heart of the curriculum. Find out more here.
THE CHILDREN'S SHAKESPEARE FESTIVAL
A major project established by North West Drama Services Ltd to increase understanding and enjoyment of Shakespeare and skill and confidence in primary teachers' use of Drama. Find out more here.
TRUTH ABOUT YOUTH
The Royal Exchange Theatre is one of seven organizations across Britain working in partnership with the Co-operative Foundation to deliver their major initiative, Truth about Youth, which challenges and changes negative perceptions about young people by supporting projects which enable them to work with adults, the media and the wider community. Throughout the year there are opportunities for both young people (aged 14 - 21) and adults, to sign up for a range of projects and one-off events which take place over school/college holidays, at weekends and on some evenings. Throughout the year Exchange Education offer a range of stand-alone taster workshops and tours for schools and community groups of up to 30. Available all year round, dependant on availability. Find out more here.
