‘It wasn’t just a pitch. It was our stage.’ #Performance
LALA Arts presents the first work in progress sharing of 90 + 5. A new, community driven play following 4 girls who used to play football together, now reunited in protest to save their beloved grounds.
The play explores the impact football culture has on our lives and the importance of female friendship. The play also explores creative access and integrated audio description within the piece and if you want to learn more about what this means, then stick around for the Q&A where this will be discussed.
LALA Arts will be sharing extracts from the play with 2 of the 4 cast members, which will be followed by a Q&A, where you can find out more about the process of going from an idea for a play, to getting the final product on the stage.
What does work-in-progress mean?
In theatre, a work-in-progress sharing, means presenting the show during its development in order to receive feedback, to then help further its development. It means that theatremakers can test out ideas, scenes and many other things in front of a live audience and get the audience’s thoughts.
This is a Pay What You Can performance, suitable for everyone aged 14+.
This event is ticketed (see below for dates and times). If the event is sold out, please feel free to come along as we have several walk-up tickets available on the day.
