Join playwright Kieran Knowles for an incredible introduction to writing. #Workshop

Whether you write regularly or have never picked up a pen, this one’s not one to be missed!

A creative and supportive space where beginners learn the art of crafting compelling characters, snappy dialogue, and dramatic tension. No experience needed, just your imagination. Let’s bring your ideas to life on the page—and maybe even the stage.

Kieran is a writer and an actor and is co-artistic director of From Ground Up Theatre Company. He is originally from Leigh, and trained at LAMDA and at Loughborough University. He wrote the play, SOME PEOPLE FEEL THE RAIN, for the Den when it was last in Leigh in 2021. His other writing credits include: ‘CHICKEN SOUP’ (Sheffield Crucible), ‘COMET’ (The Pleasance), ‘31 HOURS’ (Bunker Theatre) and ‘OPERATION CRUCIBLE‘ (Finborough Theatre/Sheffield Crucible and in NYC).

This is a Pay What You Can workshop, suitable for everyone aged 12+.

This workshop is ticketed (see below for dates and times). If the event is sold out, please feel free to come along as we have several walk-up tickets available on the day.
