Join LALA Arts in a fun, interactive and creative workshop ahead of their work-in-progress sharing of 90 + 5 where you will be able to create your own artistic response to ‘what sport means to you’. #Workshop
From t-shirts to canvases, footballs to writing the space is yours to create in.
You can add your work to LALA Arts’ exhibition ‘Going to the match’ on throughout the festival or take the creations home!
Our workshop will be run by writer of 90 + 5 Alice Christina-Corrigan.
If you have any access requirements for the workshop please contact engage@royalexchange.co.uk.
90 + 5 is a new, community driven play following 4 girls who used to play football together, now reunited in protest to save their beloved grounds. LALA Arts will be presenting extracts from the show, which will then be followed by a Q&A. Click here to find out more and book tickets.
About LALA Arts
LALA Arts is a visually impaired led arts organisation based in Salford that is creatively driven and access led. LALA Arts put access at the heart of the work we create. We create, consult and work with the community we serve and have begun to pave the way for emerging, working class and disabled artists to begin and sustain a career in the arts.
90 + 5 is our latest community led project currently in development.
This is a Pay What You Can workshop, suitable for everyone aged 10+.
This workshop is ticketed (see below for dates and times). If the event is sold out, please feel free to come along as we have several walk-up tickets available on the day.
