9 young people worked with director Julia Wilson to create a brand new show for the Local Exchange Festival
Open to anyone aged 13-18, connected to Leigh, Atherton or Tyldesley, this free week-long project brought a group on 9 young people together to create a new play from scratch under the expert guidance of director Julia Wilson. Starting with the prompt Our Show, the group developed a piece for performance as part of Local Exchange Festival.
“Really enjoyed the warm ups and memories made along the way as it made me feel closer to the others”
“My highlight was brining all our work together and turning it into a script to be performed!”
