From Monday 26th – Friday 30th January, The Rivals Café Bar will be closed to the public whilst we transform the Great Hall for our upcoming production of Jim Carwright’s ROAD.
From 12pm until the show starts at 2.30pm or 7.30pm. (Note the earlier start times of 2pm and 7pm for ROAD, FUN HOME and KING LEAR). On days without a show, Rivals will be open from 12pm-5pm.
On a matinee days, The Rivals Café will reopen after the show and stay open until the evening show.
When a show is on, you can access The Rivals Bar through the separate entrance via St Ann’s Square.
DRINKS
The Rivals Bar and our new bottle bar will both be open, serving a range of drinks including new craft beers. Pre-order your interval drinks before the show starts to save time later on.
Our new Bottle Bar is situated next to our cloakroom. The Bottle Bar serves bottles and cans of beer, cans of gin and tonic, cans of wine and a selection of soft drinks. Open before the show and during the interval only.
Don’t forget that The Rivals Bar is still open after the show- so why not enjoy a post-show drink with us!
THE RIVALS CAFE
The Rivals Café is also open every day (besides Sundays) from 12pm for delicious hot drinks and snacks.
There is a selection of sweet & savoury treats with ice cream available pre-show, as well as during the interval. We have a number of outlets dotted around the theatre, with card and cash accepted throughout.
Please note – cold drinks are allowed into the module but must be transferred into our reusable eco-friendly plastic glasses (just please remember to return them!) No glass or ceramic mugs/plates is allowed inside the auditorium and please do not take hot food or hot drinks into the auditorium for safety reason. Thank you.
