A feel-good festival and fusion of life in Rochdale, told by older South Asian women.

You Can’t Have A Wedding Without Iron Brew has been made in collaboration between the Royal Exchange’s Dream Project Elders, and Perveen Hussain to amplify the voices of older people in  Rochdale.

This performance is aimed at women. Other events on this day with this focus are: 5 Ways to Wellbeing, Evening Conversations, and Dance Jam.

The FestiDale is part of Local Exchange, the Royal Exchange Theatre’s ambitious long-term programme co-curated with ambassadors and champions in communities across Greater Manchester. This is what has been said about past festivals…
