LAST MONTH, THE DEN WAS BUILT FOR THE FIRST TIME IN STALYBRIDGE CIVIC HALL TO HOST OUR FIRST LOCAL EXCHANGE FESTIVAL.

Celebrating imagination over two weeks, we shared 17 performances, 4 workshops, a stakeholder event and an artist mixer resulting 910 attendances which equates to 77% of all seats available; 76% of all customers ere from Tameside and there were 188 unique bookers who on average booked 4.3 tickets.

A TAMESIDE STORY was the first performance in the DEN which brought together 4 different Creative Learning & Engagement projects that engaged with 48 residents across Tameside to create performances reflecting their communities and a film made by our 13 Tameside Ambassadors. THERE IS A LIGHT THAT NEVER GOES OUT, the Young Company's UTOPIA, storytelling sessions with special guests such a Julie Hesmondhalgh, a few Co:LAB 2019 shows and many more fun, creative made it into the programmme designed by the Tameside Ambassadors.
